“Portable”, “flexible”, “easy to use”, “easy to store”, and “enjoyable after completion” are just a few of the descriptions customers refer to when recounting Paul's innovative magnetic, upright, and portable jigsaw puzzle.  After interviewing friends and neighbors, Paul began by making the puzzles into souvenirs, selling to specialty shops and to the Space Needle.  "Although we originally designed with ergonomic benefits in mind," Paul states, "we have quickly become favorable in consumer, wholesale and souvenir markets, as well."

Shortly after the inception of the company Paul and his business partner collaborated with another company for a more meaningful path. That company name is R.O.S Therapy Systems, and which provides products to improve the quality of life for people diagnosed with Parkinson's disease through modular entertainment and activities. Paul feels fortunate to be a part of such consequential work.

Initially, Paul had a difficult time finding his niche market outside of specialty and souvenir shops. He experimented with domestic trade shows and magazine marketing, and after some time he began to see substantial compensations and a demanding market abroad. After much time and capital spent, he began focusing solely on expanding overseas. Most of his manufacturing and R&D were centered on just this, and he set in motion the exportation to Canada and Switzerland, selling over 8,000 puzzles so far. Although Paul regrets not focusing more of his energy on developing his product for international exports earlier, he now understands what markets to specialize and promote to, and what the public is demanding. He also has a patent on the magnetic stand concept.  

Paul enjoys customizing the puzzles for his clientele, and has had great feedback from LivingSocial users this past year. Some favorites were pictures of a family pet, children, or unique art work. Paul plans to make use of LivingSocial again, as it expanded his customer base and gave him much needed encouragement and applicable feedback.
