QuickBooks Training Expert Shelly Robbins, and CPA Dennis Thompson team up to take the mystery out of filing federal income taxes for sole proprietors and LLC's, and give you practical tips for setting up QuickBooks to make tax reporting easy.

Shelly Robbins is an Intuit Trainer/Writer Network Member and Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 1999. For many years she led a small team of QuickBooks professionals as Founder and President of The QuickSource, Inc., offering bookkeeping and software support to small businesses across the Pacific Northwest region. Shelly has trained hundreds of bookkeepers and managers using QuickBooks, and has written and conducted dozens of QuickBooks seminars including: QuickBooks Fundamentals, QuickBooks Bookkeeper Training and Certification, QuickBooks for Small Business Owners and QuickBooks for Contractors.

Dennis Thompson, CPA -

Tax Return Preparation. My practice consists primarily of Individuals and Schedule C's.
Cloud Computing.  I am skilled at using remote access software. In addition, in my Tax Practice, I am using a Web Portal to transition my Practice to becoming paperless.
QuickBooks Consulting & Training. I am an Advanced QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor. Also, I am QB Certified by two Advanced QuickBooks consulting & training organizations, The Sleeter Group and The National Advisor Network.  I am also knowledgeable about using third party tools to create customized QuickBooks reports. Finally, I am Certified in the QQube
Reporting Tool for QuickBooks.
Fraud Detection & Prevention. I am a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) with a focus on QuickBooks Fraud. I also offer Internal Control evaluations with respect to Fraud as well as helping clients develop a Procedures Manual.
Extensive Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
I have experience working  with SQL databases and report writers, such as Crystal Reports. In addition, I am skilled with Pivot Tables.
Associations.  I am currently the president of the Greater Seattle Chapter of the Washington Association of Accountants, member of WSCPA and ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners). I have also been a member of Toastmasters for 25 years.
